Healing with sound is an ancient concept, and humans are particularly responsive to external frequencies modifying their personal vibrations. This is referred to in Sound Healing as Entrainment. You are likely familiar with being effected by music, evoking emotions like love, joy, sadness, or excitement. Our bodies and minds are also affected negatively by a myriad of frequencies around us, whether it's things like Wi-Fi, or other people's energies. Most of us have encountered others often referred to as "energy vampires" at some point in our lives! Sound healing incorporates a variety of instruments, including the human voice, to create frequencies that can re-balance our personal vibrations, and even initiate healing down to the cellular level. Alchemy is simply mixing things together to create something new; so we call what we do Sound Alchemy, because we simultaneously combine different instruments like singing bowls, sacred drum, rattles, tuning forks, the human voice, and others to create healing frequencies. Intention is the key - as Sound Healing pioneer Jonathan Goldman says, "Frequency + intent = healing." As we focus our intentions on healing while we receive the vibrations of the frequencies, we facilitate healing in our bodies, our minds, and our spirits. This can be quite a profound experience!
